Mark’s Deli can prepare delicious food for any occasion. From a packed lunch to a gourmet buffet. Our chefs have prepared food for some of Scotland’s top hotels including Gleneagles and the Hilton Hotels in Scotland. We supplied all the kosher food for the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
We can cater for all dietary requirements including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, sugar free, dairy free.
Here are some of our traditional delicacies…
- Kosher Haggis – Mark’s Deli kosher haggis is famous throughout the world. Our haggis is shipped throughout the UK and beyond for Burns Suppers. Our haggis has even been mentioned at the Scottish Parliament!
- Latkies – potato and onion rosti
- Chopped Liver – exactly what it says on the tub!
- Cholent – potatoes, meat and beans lovingly cooked for hours to create this stew-like delicacy
- Tsimmes – sweet carrot stew
- Gefilte Fish – chopped white fish made into patties either boiled or fried
- Chicken Soup (also known as Jewish Penicillin for its healing properties) – chicken consommé with kneidlach and lokshen (see below)
- Kneidlach – soft dumplings to go into your chicken soup or tzimmes
- Lockshen – egg noodles for your chicken soup
- Parev – food containing no meat or milk products
